Today, I bring you another Guest Post. Want somewhere to travel this Summer? Somewhere new to experience? Look no further then this blog post.

The Edinburgh Fringe 2014: Ten Must See Shows

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is always a highlight of Edinburgh’s social calendar, with thousands of people from far and wide heading to this gorgeous Scottish city to catch some comedy, theatre and live entertainment. Throughout August, performers from across the arts will be performing for the masses and while many of the tickets may have already been allocated, there will be plenty more left if you fancy making a last minute decision to go and enjoy what the festival has to offer. Book into one of the Edinburgh Travelodge hotels and start planning your itinerary; these ten shows would be a great place to start!

  • Paxo – Broadcaster, author and University Challenge presenter, Jeremy Paxman, will be live in the Pleasance Courtyard between the 18th and 25th August. Not only will you be able to listen to his probes on various aspects of life, but you’ll also have the chance to ask him questions too.
  • No Further Action – After winning Celebrity Big Brother recently, comedy genius, Jim Davidson, is back on the road and will be telling audiences stories of his arrest and the ensuing ordeal at the Assembly Hall between the 1st and 25th August.
  • Frankenstein: UnBolted – This hilarious take on the Mary Shelley novel is a must for anyone with a love of classic horror. You can find it at The Caves until the 24th August.
